Early 19thc. Silver Plated Lattice Oval Fruit Basket Server

An oval silver plated basket for fresh figs, nuts or oranges, perhaps, made in finest plate, probably in the 1930s. The basket measures 8 1/2″ x 6″ and 3 1/2″ deep (21cms x 16cms x 8.5cms) and is in very good order, with only light signs of wear, particularly to the inside, age-related. It looks as if there is a some wearing inside the photograph. This lovely basket will definitely hold your bread rolls or fruit!
There is a blank cartouche to one side, for the engraving of your own monogram. This is quite a light item, an indication of its quality.
